Technical Director

Job description:
Their responsibility well exceeds costings. The Technical Director leads the coordination between design and delivery. We are responsible for ensuring that what we build complies with relevant legislation, British Standards, and industry standard guidelines. We prepare, review and negotiate the contractual arrangements. Whilst the design team lead the architectural elements of a project, any services, structural or technical details fall within our remit. We review programme, identifying opportunities to expedite the programme where necessary, but also establish the key dates at the start of the project. We ensure that the client is fully briefed in all technical elements of the build, including cooling, lighting and acoustics. They’re also (apparently) the most fun people.
